Viking axe - for reenactment and living history

This axe is designed from a pattern typical of the Viking / Dark Ages period and is ideal for reenactment and living history displays. The blade is approximately 19cm long as is semi-sharp and tempered and so capable of piercing armour and should not be used in battle reenactment, The blade metal has a rough aged finish to increase the visual authenticity of the piece.

The axe includes a hardwood shaft and leather cover with button closure.
