T-face Barbute Helmet Medieval reenactment <p>Developed in Italy in the 15th Century as a part of the Milanese style, the T-face barbute, spread in use throughout the whole of Europe as a practical alternatiive to the more restrive Sallet Helm. The side of the helmet extend around to protect both the neck and face, so removing the need for a seperate bevor or gorget. Ravencrest's T-faced Barbute helm is based upon that of the 'Avant' suit that is located in the Kelvingrove Museum, Galsgow.</p> <p>Crafted from 14 GA steel with an adjustable leather liner and chin strap.</p> <p><span><span>Weight: 7lb or 3.4 Kg</span></span></p>
