The team representing the United Kingdom are returning from Croatia as we speak in the aptly named 'Battle Bus' (or should that be Battle-Axe Bus?). Although the main focus of the event for Team Captain and Ravencrest Reenament owner Mark was of course fighting, it is also an amazing opportunity to review the quality and range of products being produced for full contact Medieval fighting across Europe and further afield. Mark has spoken to and made contact with a number of new suppliers who are of interest to Ravencrest, including the potential for a range of specially created weapons and armour supplied by one of the top armour-shops in the West. We already work with them for occasional pieces. The owner is keen to expand his geographical range and Ravencrest are ideally in Europe placed to work with him to achieve this. We are also updating our Battle of the Nations armour and weaponry section this week. Much of what is being added was used by a number of the United Kingdom team in this year’s tournament! With no complaints received so far we are happy to consider it battle-tested and passing with flying colours.
